Scientific team focused on the circulation of materials (water, carbon, nutrients, radionucleoids, contaminants) on terrestrial ecosystems and its relationship with land use and other human activities.

GEA started in October 2004 as part of the San Luis Applied Mathematics Institute (IMASL), depending on the National University of San Luis and CONICET.
